Montegonzi is a delightful hamlet of houses built around a fortified castle dating back to the twelfth century which gave origin to the charming little town of Greve in Chianti. The dominant position of the castle made it strategically important for controlling communication between Florence and Siena. In 1629 the castle was partially destroyed by the Ghibellini's guild of Siena who were fighting against the Florentine Guelfi's guild. Montegonzi is situated in quiet and panoramic location, nestling deep amidst vineyards and olive groves and offering beautiful extensive views over the surrounding landscape of Chianti shire.

Podere Campriano farmhouse was born in April 2007, when we finished the restoration works we took care of by ourselves. The care that we used to restore our birth house will make you feel wrapped into a familiar atmosphere, placid, quite like our lands. The farmhouse is situated in the heart of the Chianti area, between Florence (25km) and Siena (35km) and it is just 5 minutes away from Greve in Chianti.

After a short drive on a country road our guests at Lionforti da Vico reach the calm, simple, old country life style house. At the Lionforti's, which name came from the old Family Leon Forti, who lived in the village around the XI century, you can rent apartments from 2 persons to 8/10, weekly, monthly or for few days (more than 3 days).

The main feature of "Antico Pastificio" (The Old Pasta Factory) is the perfect isolation from the outside although being located inside a country village. The Old Pasta Factory was carefully restored to new life after over fifty years of neglect without compromising the traditional Tuscan features, such as the antique frescoed walls, beamed wooden or vaulted ceilings, original terracotta floors.
