Located in the heart of Chianti, on the panoramic road which links Poggibonsi to Castellina in Chianti, the ancient Romitorio di Serelle rose in the Middle Ages. Its highly suggestive environment unites discretion and exclusiveness with the convenience of being easily accessible by road connections. Romitorio di Serelle has been completely restored, preserving the original characteristics and using traditional materials of Chianti rural architecture. The location between Siena and Florence and the nearness to historical towns like Castellina in Chianti, San Gimignano, Certaldo, Colle Val d'Elsa, Barberino and Monteriggioni make the tourist potential of this place unique.

A wonderful location for your stay in the heart of Chianti Classico

Dating back to the 18th century, the rural village spread a top hill, 400 mt. high, in the heart of the Chianti region, in a very suggestive countryside. Vineyards and olive groves surround the group of farmhouses of which Quercia al Poggio is a well integrated part. Once upon a time about 60 persons were living in the Estate self-producing all the necessary they needed: today the village is dedicated to our guests while the Estate is producing biological wine and extra-virgin olive oil.

A Tuscan Estate: Chianti wine and wonderful views

Le Querciole is a beautiful country house in the heart of Chianti, just a few kilometres away from Siena, San Gimignano and Florence. Built in 17th century, it has been meticulously restored to its full glory a couple of years ago. It is the ideal place to spend a couple of days in total relax, stroll around its breathtaking countryside on foot or on bike. Roberta and Valeria will warmly welcome you and will make your stay a pleasant experience.
